Coral Reef is excited to announce we have scheduled the most exciting trip in the shop’s 28-year history.  Come with us to the Philippines and dive into the world’s center of marine diversity.  Our dive adventure begins June 26, 2023, with five nights at the beautiful Atlantis Dumaguete Dive Resort, followed by seven nights aboard the wonderful Atlantis Azores Liveaboard.

Dumaguete Resort

This dedicated beachfront dive resort is built around a lush tropical garden, a waterfront restaurant, and a black volcanic sand beach. There are 44 rooms, a spa, Toko's restaurant, a dive center, a camera center, a swimming pool, and a bar.

Dumaguete Diving

The Dumaguete resort offers over 20 coastal dive sites and healthy reefs around Apo Island with over 400 documented species of corals (65% of the world's corals), the vibrant walls of Siquijor, and snorkeling with whale sharks in Oslob. In addition to being the frogfish capital of the Philippines, Dumaguete has been described as having the best "critter diving" in the world. Its black volcanic sand beaches offer divers a great opportunity to see unique macro marine life, hard coral reefs, and even artificial reefs.

Azores Liveaboard

The Azores has seven deluxe staterooms with double and single bunk-style berths, an ensuite lavatory, a private head and shower, a hairdryer, and shower gel. All are situated below the deck. The Owner's suite is on the upper deck with double and single bunk-style berths. The suite is larger and has a desk, large picture windows, and extensive storage space.

Azores Diving

Most dives are done from two zodiac tender boats with a short ride to dive sites. Azores charters include five dives a day (including night) and nitrox is available. We will follow the Bohol itinerary through one of Asia's most beautiful and bio-diverse regions. Be prepared to see frogfish, stonefish, barracuda, turtles, a sardine run, and maybe even a thresher. Around Oslob Island, it has been said you can encounter whale sharks 365 days a year.

Trip Prices

Prices for the trip are based on double occupancy at Dumaguete and aboard the Azores. The deluxe room option at Dumaguete and on the Azores is $5,396 and includes round-trip airfare between Manila and Dumaguete. The Dumaguete deluxe room and Azores Owner's Suite option is $5,911 with round-trip airfare between Manila and Dumaguete. Below are more details on inclusions, separate park fees, and exclusions.

We look forward to you joining us on this unique experience of the diverse underwater world of Atlantis Dumaguete and the Azores.
